St Hilary's (12 John Street Kew 3101)
We’d all like our churches to be more welcoming, our members to have more confidence in inviting people to come along and for all of us to have more success when we do invite people to Church.
This Seminar offers simple and effective ideas for making our churches more invitational and unlocking our potential to grow.
The inspiring ideas and practical tools presented in the workshop will create the greatest change if you can bring a team along from your church – Vestry teams, Church Boards, Wardens and Elders, Lay Leaders, Ministry Leaders and Welcomers.
Topics include:
The reasons Christians don’t invite
Hidden attitudes in our churches
How to overcome the wounds of the past
How welcome plays its part
What is church in 2012?
The keys to adding to the church
How to double a congregation in a day
Practical tools you can use
Overcoming fears and obstacles
